EPDM - Ethylene propylene diene monomer EPDM shows a fulfilling resistance against the main hydraulic fluids: ketones, hot or cold water, alkalis. It is employed for the rubber lining which work at high temperatures and is contained in particular gaskets where the lower compression set, together with the chemical resistance, is the most important requirement. EPDM compounds can work at the maximum temperature of 150°C.
