Blasting All surfaces to be processed must be clean, dry and free from traces of oil, grease, etc. The internal surfaces and the at the extremity of the pipe, which could be damaged during the blasting, must be adequately protected. The surfaces to be processed must be blasted in order to eliminate any trace of oxide or milling scale or any foreign material. Abrasive material to be used can be: rough cast iron grit. Abrasive material to be used must be cleaned from dust and impurities. In case of equipment with abrasive recycling, the equipment must be complete of screening and dust aspiration devices. After blasting the surface must be cleaned from residuals of grit and from dust.
