Remove existing rubber The removal of the old rubber lining from the cylinder is performed using the parallel lathe machine. The cylinder must be positioned with care on the machine in such way to not to damage the trunnions of the cylinder. During the service the cylinders can undergo some considerable efforts with consequent possible deformation of the same trunnions (in case of extreme efforts). If this deformation results excessive, it is necessary to consult the customer to check if the cylinder is still useable. Pay particular attention during the removal of the lining from the table of the cylinder, in order to no risk to damage the metal with the tool.
