Adhesive application All the surfaces to be rubber lined, after blasting must be carefully cleaned and free from oil and condensate The blasted surface must be treated with Primer adhesive before any rusting of metal can start. The eventual transport of blasted parts must be carefully performed in order to avoid contamination of blasted surface. Adhesives to be used must be selected depending on the information contained in the specifications of the rubber lining type. Before the use, verify that the characteristics and the properties have not been damaged due to a wrong storage. Application of Primer The adhesive must be equally applied on the whole surface to be rubber lined. Application of Cover Apply the cover as per the same procedure of Primer. Pay attention never to apply the adhesive before the Primer adhesive is completely dry. Under no circumstances should the surface be contaminated by foreign agents: dust, dirty or chemicals.
